Late twenties or thirty-something professional?

Deserve something better?

From your late twenties and beyond, it's your personal qualities that differentiate you, not a checklist of keywords.

Here's the thing:

You cannot represent your personal qualities in a few sheets of paper, no matter how well-written and presented.

And anyway, when you apply for an advertised job, alongside dozens of others, a computer will scan your resumé for keywords before it gets anywhere near a human being. If your resumé makes it through that step, a real person will only look at it for a few seconds before they decide which pile to put it on!

The truth is:

Hiring managers are as frustrated as you with the lottery of the traditional hiring process as you are. Advertising for someone is a last resort, when seeking a professional.

But what you need to know is this:

Good organisations, the sort you would want to work for, are always on the lookout for talent. So, if you can find a way to connect with the sort of people you'd love to work for, you need to sidestep the traditional process. I will show you how.

Why you need this course:

In this mini-course, I'll set out 7 steps that will enable you to find a job you love. For each step, I'll give you an action you can take today. Then, I'll take a deeper dive into the two steps that people find most challenging.

It's free for 7 days

It's completely free and will be available to you for 7 days. And after that, I'll follow up with some emails that will build upon what you learned.

Who will benefit from this course?

You will get most benefit if you are ready to take action now, to change your career and your life.

And if you are already looking, getting demoralised by sending of resumé after resumé, without even a call back, then let me help you to step off the treadmill.

Or, even if you are making it to interviews but have not been able to close the deal, then find out about the surprising behavioural science that will enable you to succeed.

About me

I'm Gary Lloyd and over the last ten years I worked as an executive coach, and in that role I have helped dozens of professionals to find jobs they love.

Alongside that coaching role, I have continued to be a hiring manager, a role I've fulfilled for nearly thirty years, as a line manager and a consultant.

Thus, I see the world from two complementary perspectives:

  1. How to help career changers to find jobs they love.
  2. What hiring managers need from career changers.

What you get inside this course

This course is three short videos:

  1.  I set out the seven the steps to find a job you love.
  2. I tackle the most common fear: how to go about targeted networking.
  3. I explain what to do and say when you get those one-to-one conversations, through targeted networking.

After each of the three videos there is a quiz to help you remember the key points form the videos.

Also, a really nice feature of the platform is that after each quiz, there is a summary of the correct answers, with explanations. That has allowed me to add additional content into the explanations which then become great revision aids.

A full list of the content is below.
